Anyone in DC knows that perhaps the most touristy season in the city would be the week of the Cherry Blossoms. It’s such a beautiful time though, so Sharon, Greg and I braved the crowds and we photographed their engagement session a few weeks ago at the peak of the season. I so enjoyed spending the morning with them, and I look forward to photographing their wedding coming up on May 1st!
I arrived at the Jefferson Memorial a few minutes early to check out the scene. This is what we had to work around:
Luckily we were able to find some quieter spots to photograph:
Another constant battle was the wind! She looks gorgeous anyways :)
I think this shot is my favorite:
Sharon’s other man made it into a few shots….
You will be seeing more from them soon as their wedding is my first of the season. The reception is going to be held at National’s Park, how cool is that!?

Gorgeous! I love the hot pink dress! Can’t wait for the wedding!
Diana here. I love these fun, happy engagement pictures in an iconic DC location! Great work, Jenni. Thanks for posting them for everyone to enjoy.
These are beautiful! The pictures relay how the couple relate to each other in a beautiful environment. Jenni, great job in being able to equally show the beautiful couple against a beautiful background.
Great work!
