It was a busy weekend for the Studio Diana girls! I began my weekend shooting Lauren’s Sweet 16 with fellow JMU-er, Brian King. I met Brian a few months ago at an alumni happy hour for the School of Media Arts & Design (they let me come play even though I had been in the Art school!). Brian works in the weddings and events industry with music and lighting. He created a fun (and very pink!) atmosphere for Lauren and all of her friends to celebrate. Brian also had a multi-media set up at the party, so while I shot, we uploaded photos to a projector. It was so cool to see everything as it was happening! (Makes me wish my sixteenth birthday hadn’t been so lame, haha!)
