Today I’d like to share with you part 1 of Kathryn and Bruce‘s July 3 wedding at the American Pharmaceutical Association Building. Their wedding was unique in that it was the first ever to be held at the APhA building! Amy of Engaging Affairs coordinated the event beautifully, including some gorgeous DC weather! Kathryn, Bruce, their family and friends were so much fun to work with and I’m so happy to have been a part of their day!
Kathryn began her morning preparing at The Fairmont hotel in Georgetown:
Kathryn borrowed this stunning necklace from her mother:
Leo Druker came along with me to shoot, and was with the guys preparing at a nearby hotel:
After a first look in the sunny Fairmont lobby, the bridal party hopped on the shuttle to take some pictures around the city.
So in love with the parasols!
A little italian ice is perfect for a summer day!
I still can’t get over the venue! The ceremony took place on the front steps of the building (with Constitution Avenue right in the background), cocktails on the lower patio, and the reception was held on the rooftop.
Check back tomorrow for photos from the party!

Gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous!!!!
Absolutely breathtaking ! ! !
jenni, i know i always love your work, but this was really stupendous. there were so many things right about the photography, i don’t know where to start. the savvy architectural portraits, the intimate getting-ready moments, the way you posed the couple together…i loved it all. congratulations on a terrific job!
Beautiful.
