Last week, I had the pleasure of meeting Diana and Carlos and photographing their engagement session. They introduced me to this amazing location- Dumbarton Oaks Gardens, tucked away in Georgetown. I was DYING over it! Maybe I’ve just been living under a rock, but I never even knew this place existed. It felt like we were running around the Secret Garden. It was a little hot for September, but they were troopers (and Carlos even made a much-needed Diet Coke run for the ladies). Here are some of my favorite images:

yes, you died and went to italian garden heaven! did you have any trouble with the guards? this is where i did the frederick session last year, and where my sister and i got to play when we were children…
must’ve been our lucky day because we had no trouble at all…. and I had two cameras on me, so I would assume that I looked a little conspicuous!
Ahhh!! Jenni, I know Diana and Carlos- we all studied abroad together!! They are such a great, fun couple. Diana and Carlos, you both are in such great hands with Jenni :) Congrats again on your engagement and you guys look great!!
small world! love it!
A small world, indeed! Hi Jaime :) We had such a nice day with Jenni on this shoot. One of my favorite shots is the one Jenni posted first in this blog post. I plan to put that one on the desk in my office. Carlos’s favorite isn’t even posted here – there were so many nice ones.
We loved Jenni and would recommend her to anyone!
thank you, diana. we’re so glad you’re happy. nice name.
