I’m going a little out of order here, but this is our own special girl, so I’m breaking the rules for her! (Labor Day clients- you’re up next, I promise!) Lauren asked me earlier this summer if I would photograph her small wedding she was planning at The Inn at Little Washington. My answer was an obvious “OF COURSE!” It was going to be a small, intimate affair with only 12 guests at one of the houses on the property. I was so looking forward to a wedding like this… a little break from the typical DC scene I work in. But small doesn’t totally erase nerves, especially when you are photographing a photography family (and the one that employs you as well)! Lauren- I couldn’t imagine not being there though, and I am touched that you and Brian asked me to be. Here are some of my favorite photos, and feel free to check out their slideshow as well.
I just love getting ready photos. They are so easy when your girl is as gorgeous as Lauren! Here’s proof that simple is always a good choice (sidenote- flowers provided by Justine Ungaro and Granny… ever heard of them!?)
I gave Lauren a hard time for giving me a bathroom that was so dark, but we found the light :)
Brian, looking all cute and handsome:
Lauren and Brian opted to have a harpist play at the ceremony, a perfect choice for their garden setting:
Justine goes from florist to bridesmaid and now to videographer:
The whole wedding = easiest family formals ever!
Lauren and Brian- there really are no words. I love you and the family so much! Have an amazing European honeymoon- I can’t wait to hear all about it!
