For the third week in a row, I travelled outside the DC metro area for a mini-destination wedding. This particular wedding was special to me for many reasons- I’ve known Lauren’s family and friends since I was just 8 years old! Their wedding was held in Richmond Virginia at The American Civil War Center at Historic Tredegar. I would like to dedicate these photos to Lauren, Matt, and their families, especially those who were unable to attend the wedding. We love you, and we missed you greatly. Meet the lovely Lauren… I had to confess to her that as kids, I was always a bit intimidated by her as she was my friend’s older sister that I thought was just so cool and so pretty! Lauren got ready at the Linden Row Inn in downtown Richmond.

Lauren met up with Matt down by the water to do some portraits before the ceremony. This was the first time I had the chance to meet Matt, and I thought he looked quite handsome with his bride:

The reception began with an amazing performance by the Latin Ballet of Virginia, the company that Lauren dances with.
